Following the demise of the London Open at Wimbledon Spedeworth renamed it and moved it to Aldershot and what a brilliant move it was. Over 120 National Bangers produced a very lively meeting with lots of Jack Ups, wrecking and crashing as these pictures illustrate. Four Heats, Two Consolations, Final and D/D all with loads of cars plus all the races for the other formulas. The large crowd basked in glorious warm weather which kept the track dry and fast producing a worthy contender for a classic meeting award.
