IPSWICH SPEDEWEEKEND 1st/2nd July 1995
This year, Spedeworth's classic two day event lived up to it's reputation for excitement and action, the best of which is featured here in this full length DVD pack of both days. Races from all the formulas, interviews with some of the leading drivers in the World Final and scenes from the Carnival Grand Parade are included. Few people would have thought that the youngest driver in this year's race could come through and win at his first attempt, that is just what 96 Ian McKellar did after having caught John Steward, who had led for many laps. For the Grand Finale, Big Van Bangers are served up in an edited version of their Race and Destruction Derby. The action is all here for you to relive including the unusual occurrence of rain at one extremity of the track and dry Tarmac at the other causing the Superstox to come to a sticky end, and earlier, 14 Hot Rods in one spectacular crash in the dry!
