Golden Oldies 1996

The now annual Golden Oldies Night at Wimbledon, featuring only cars that were made before 1967, produced some very heavy action this year.

Some of the many crashes on this video can be seen in the accompanying photographs on this sleeve.

Over 65 lovely old cars raced their heart out on a last journey to the scrap yard.

Amongst the many Rovers, Jaguars, Westies and other exotica was a fine American beast, a "Buick Riviera Boat Tail", which finished the night a very different shape to how it began.

Three Heats, Consolation, Grand Final and a Destruction Derby that had a controversial ending, produces yet another great DVD.
