A new wall for the track and a new National Hot Rod World Champion produced a Spedeweekend to remember At nearly 6 hours this double tape set relives the action and spectacle of the complete weekend with all the races from both days, interviews from the leading contenders and a special match race between "Chalky" White and "Bart" Simpson. Not for many years has the crowd leapt to their feet as the winner crossed the line, but 175 John Steward had the whole stadium behind him to take a much awaited victory. Foxhall's two fixers Ratchett and Scratchett caused some major problems as seen below in the Banger Caravan Race and their appearance at various times during the weekend produced plenty of mayhem.
